"I have been totally converted to the bedding. My horse Buddy has had a significant reduction in sinus nasal discharge since changing over, and it’s so much quicker to muck out, and less smelly than shavings. I do a full muck out every day, but I’m so pleased with how fluffy the bed stays and banks keep their shape. When pallets can be stored outside, I will put more of my horses onto it and off shavings. I am using a bale every other day on Buddy, but my beds are immaculate, huge and it’s a foaling box. I have passed your details onto my Head vet of RVC equine practise. "Amongst the "herd" we have 2 little Welsh section As - one of which suffers with allergies. She was coughing a lot on straw bedding so we decided to switch onto shavings. Even then, she would still cough a fair bit and so after a recommendation, I thought we would give Bedkind a go! I started a stable off with 5 bags and banked it all up. It is so easy to distribute around the stable which appeases my OCD for a nice, tidy bed. We put that bedding down around 2 weeks ago and I've only just done a full muck out today. "Absolutely love this bedding. I sneeze when bedding down shavings and straw, but I don't with BedKind because there is no dust. It's very absorbent and there is no smell unlike other bedding. I have a really messy gelding who parties most nights, and his bed is easier on this, plus my two-year-old gelding has never slept so well! We also have a very wet mare and its working brilliantly for her. All the others are perfectly happy on it. We will possibly spend a little more each month on bedding costs but we will save money in the long run because our muck heap won't need removing so often, plus I won't be spending time and diesel going to get straw and shavings from the local suppliers.
